Hans-Henrik, Jacob and myself will be involved in Index and especially in Index:Views - the summit for creative leaders - next week. This is hardly anything new for our regular readers ;-) However, this is far from the only global design event in Copenhagen next week!

Era 05: World Design Congress will also open its doors and although almost every session is sold out, I was asked by the project manager Marc (and by his colleauge Marie) to post a small advertisment for an interesting session on Intellectual Property. If your intersted in this topic and you are in or around Copenhagen next week, this is worth checking out!

Era 05: World Design Congress has opened certain of its sessions to a limited number of free guests.
No fees are required!
On Wednesday 28 September, 9:00 - 16:00 you can take part in the
session Intellectual Property at DAC - Danish Architecture Center,
Strandgade 27B.

At the session, design piracy and design protection are on the agenda.
Knowledge industries are developing and competitive advantages have
been established by the ability to implement design and
designprocesses. How can you and how is a company to not just secure
but make sure advancements of immaterial goods.

The session is developed in cooperation with the Office of
Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). Both Danish and European
experts in the field of design protection management and enforcement
will be appearing, including . Gerhard Bauer fra Daimler Chrysler
(Germany), Knud Wallberg fra Sandel, Løje & Wallberg (Denmark) and
Dids MacDonald fra ACID (England).

If you are interested, get in touch with Project Manager Marc Lefkowitz
at mle@ddc.dk. This offer is only open to the first 60 comers.
