Dear all
Since the beginning of 2006 I’ve been busy - together with Jacob - creating a new Company, Connecta. In Connecta we cope with uncertainty, complexity and innovation. A lot of the thoughts put into the company is created from my writings here at CPH127, but also the perspective you have been giving me all along - THANK YOU all for that
I have to admit that the energy here at CPH127 has been low thr last 6 months. Plenty of reasons - no excuses….
During the past weeks I’ve been thinking about how I - together with you of course - can re-vitalize this "sense-making"-initiative. Any suggestions?

I would suggest a gateway to make it into a gateway for Danish user-centred innovation. We hear a lot about Denmark and user-centred innovation these days: the User-Centred Innovation Lab at the Copenhagen Business School, the 180º Academy in Middelfart, the government policy in this regard, and a range of start-ups. But it is very hard to get more than a very generic overview if you don’t read Danish. Why not a series of reportages, interviews and features that map this territory a bit better for those of us not in Denmark?
Good to hear that you’re alive and congrats to developing Connecta which I follow from time to time as my Danish is still somehow limited ![]()
From our discussions long, long ago (in terms of blog-times
you know that I have my own view on CPH127 which I (sadly) saw to decline … Maybe we’ll find a chance to get back in touch at the upcoming reboot later this year?!
CPH 127 is a great resource Hans. I’ve found myself coming back recently numerous weeks to review some of the really insightful material it generated.
It would be wonderful if it’s original vibrancy could be revived.
Dear Mark, Ralf & Ian
Thank you so much for your kind remarks - It’s interesting to experience the response after so long ![]()
Mark - your right, user-driven innovation and user-centric design is on the rise here in Denmark and there is a huge potential to set an important agenda in that specific field. I’ll try to sketch the landscape in my future writing…
Ralf - yes, we will definitely touch base during Reboot this year. I’m looking forward to that. I hope everything is well with you and your family ![]()
Ian - you are SO right, and in fact that’s one of the main reasons that I’ve decided to move on by blogging here again ![]()
My little company is helping companies establish and facilitate their innovation capability. We do that by using a designthinking approach, using social software and a different approach to real life processes. My future writing will reflect that as well - I hope it’s okay ![]()
Other perspectives you like me to cover? If I can ![]()
All the best
Hans Henrik
Dear Hans,
I would also like to encourage you to continue this blog! I am working at the C-LAB in Germany. C-LAB is an innovation tank jointly run by SIS (Siemens IT Solutions and Services) and the University of Paderborn, Germany. The C-LAB focuses on innovations based on the three success factors of today’s products, namely user processes, business processes and technologies.
These days I am busy introducing a user-centered innovation process for one of our clients (automobile industry) and the insights and thoughts you and others share at this blog help me a lot to understand what I am actually doing ![]()
Maybe I can support you a bit in revitalising air traffic at chp127 ![]()
